Max Kortlander is a writer, researcher, artist, maker and builder, focused on strengthening peace and democracy in the digital age. Based in Amsterdam, he has worked for over ten years with international teams as a facilitator of values-driven research and technology development. His work spans participatory democracy, peace-driven design and platform accountability.
At Post-X Society, Max led the development of the depolarisation design principles and was a senior writer and researcher at HEIO, our work on monitoring election interference. In his spare time, Max retreats into the real world to paint, make music and finish building his offline studio in the woods.
