24 April – 19:00 – The Hague → Register
With Trump, America is turning away from Europe, the trade war is in full swing. Physical wars are escalating, the gap between rich and poor is growing, and companies are making record profits while more and more people struggle to make ends meet. Climate disasters are piling up, but real change fails to materialise.
This is not an exception or a crisis – this is our system.
But it’s not only about ‘the world’, it’s about you. About the stress of work that asks too much and gives too little. About the pressure to keep up in an economy that exhausts both people and the planet. About the search for more calm, meaning and a way of living that doesn’t feel like an endless rat race.
How did it come to this? Where is this heading, and is an alternative possible? What does that look like, then? We’d be glad to talk it over with you.
Together we discover how we can work, live and coexist differently; not as a distant dream of the future, but as something we can already start shaping now.
That is why we are organising four workshops at The Hague Humanity Hub. The first is on 24 April, from 7 to 9 pm.
What are we going to do?
This gathering is not a passive lecture; instead we’ll be in conversation with each other. In combination with the gatherings that follow, we will jointly uncover the root causes of our problems, shape desired futures, make visible what is already happening now, and work together to set this change in motion.
Facilitation: Serf Doesborgh & Pieter van Boheemen
📍We welcome you on Thursday 24 April at The Hague Humanity Hub, Fluwelen Burgwal 58, close to The Hague Central station.
🕖 Time: 19:00 – 21:00
Doors from 6 pm. There will then be a chance to meet each other and for a bring-your-own dinner.
🙏 Suggested donation: 7.50 euros (on site)
👟 Put on your walking shoes. We won’t be sitting still the whole time!
What’s next
After this workshop, three more sessions follow; dates to come. We use all the output to develop a two-day training in January, in which we train a group of committed people to drive this change further together with you.
Of course, we share nothing from the conversations without your consent.
