Project
Young people learn how online polarisation works, and that the quiet majority agrees more often than you’d think.
Post-Polarized Society tackles negative polarisation among vocational-education students, with lessons, workshops and interactive tools. Students learn how ideas are selected and framed online, how algorithms amplify division, and how to look critically at how opinions are formed and influenced. One fine result is Potje Polariseren, an AI tool that reveals the hallmarks of polarisation in social media videos.
Funded by the SIDN Fonds, developed with Beeld & Geluid Onderwijs and Albeda College. You’ll find the teaching materials in the Lespakket polarisatie.
